Sobre mi biblioteca
My collection reflects my professional background in economics, labor relations, health care and information science. However, it also reflects a personal curiosity about many topics including: neuroscience, psychology, self-management, the history of the West (especially the 19th century fur trade) and Buddhist philosophy. I try to find time for fiction too!

I have just begun to enter my collection here. I have given away (and forgotten) nearly as many books as I now own. I hope they continue to provide joy and wisdom to their current owners.
Sobre mí
I am a student in the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. My employment background is nearly as eclectic as my personal library collection. Most recently I was the Director of Research and Policy for the United American Nurses (which has merged into National Nurses United). I have worked as an economist and information professional for a number of labor unions. I also was on the economics faculty at Colorado State University and Centre College. I have also been a community organizer, a retail clerk, a factory assembler, a janitor and an engineering lab technician in a missile silo. I write a blog for Americans for Democratic Action (http://www.adaction.org/pages/blog.php). Most importantly, I am a husband and father.
