Sobre mi biblioteca
I've been an avid ballet book collector since 2002 (although I've been a habitual ballet book collector since childhood).
My ballet and dance library includes hard and softcover books, Dance Magazine from its inception, ballet autographs (Balanchine, Nureyev, Fonteyn, Baryshnikov, Farrell, Kirkland, Ashley, Tallchief, Villella, D'Amboise, Le Clercq, Dolin, Verdon, Reinking, and many, many more), ballet and dance periodicals of all kinds, children's books, ballet programs and program books and other ballet ephemera.

I own 17 copies of Le Clercq's Ballet Cook Book, several copies of Dancing for Balanchine, Repertory in Review, and other collectibles, some of them signed.

I not only collect ballet books, I read and refer to them -- often.
Sobre mí
Former dancer, now mother of a dancer and 5 other (adult) children, a proficient internet navigator, and a pretty good cook. A writer who hates the chore of writing but mentally frames all of life's occurrences into articles, I sometimes even write things down, like ballet reviews and blogposts. Once a magazine editor/publisher, I can't free myself of the need to write correctly. I ache when I see bad writing, incorrect spelling and poor grammatical use. Misplacing commas, using the wrong words, spouting idioms instead of taking the time to think and add real meaning to one's speech and other aberrations of language usage bother me more than they should. I wish I could change and be less of a curmudgeon, but after decades of entrenchment my responses have become irrevocably ingrained.
