I read mostly World Literature and Historical Fiction. I love the Interlink World Fiction series in translation and the Emerging Voices series.

My library right now consists mostly of Middle Eastern lit. I occasionally read American and British authors, but not as often as I used to.
Unfortunately I don't always have the time I'd like to update my library, but I am working on it slowly.

Sobre mí

Married with an 18 yr old son. American with a very mixed heritage. I grew up surrounded by my large Greek immigrant family which led to my current fascination (or maybe obsession) with all things "foreign".
I love documentaries and Indie films. I watch mostly Arabic, Greek and French movies.

Aside from reading and my family, my basic interests are humanitarian issues and social justice (especially Palestine). Organic gardening and chemical free beauty products (henna), Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cooking, genealogy, and comparative religion ( esp.Islam and Greek Orthodoxy). I love animals. I have 3 indoor cats, 1 is a shelter cat (that's Tiki in my profile pic), 1 a rescue cat, and the youngest is an adopted stray. I also have 2 outdoor cats that adopted me.
AND I'm an avid Cleveland Indians baseball fan. :)
