I've lived in L'Isle Jourdain in the Poitou-Charentes since May 2001. It's a small town over-looking the river Vienne, probably best-known for its viaduct and the bungee-jumping opportunity it provides.

I'm a freelance proofreader and a full-time cat rescuer. I write for www.catnipchronicles.com, under the title "Maison Miaow". Maison Miaow became a charity at the end of January this year. We're operating "trap, neuter, release" schemes; finding homes for stray cats and kittens; as a centre for housing lost pets until they can be reclaimed, and circulating info on lost-and-founds.

Apart from cats I enjoy travel when I have the chance - getting them harnessed to the cart ususally exhausts all further desires. Musically it's blues, rock, folk. Love cooking, beer, rugby, leathers...and I must update that photo as the ZZ Top look has gone.
