I'm a Gemini with an incredibly eclectic taste that occasionally tends to lean towards the fantastical. I'll try any genre once and will absolutely be a repeat offender if I enjoy myself.

The first "adult" book I read was Gone With the Wind when I was 11; I've read it at least a dozen times since. Other favorites include the sequel, Scarlett; the Confessions of a Shopaholic series; The Devil Wears Prada; Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children series; the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray; The Da Vinci Code; Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga (hated New Moon, though); and The Other Boleyn Girl.

I'm a born and bred New York City girl who always has a book or a magazine with me wherever I go. I have a degree in nursing and am currently working full-time while advancing my educational background (i.e. I need more degrees). Aside from reading, I also enjoy writing; drawing; singing; horseback riding; walks in the woods; animals; collecting Disney pins; and traveling. I've been across the U.S. and back, south to Mexico, and east to England and Italy. Next up? How's Australia, the Masai Mara, or Fiji sound? :)
