- I have not yet even come near achieving the ambitious task of cataloguing all of the books in my library (I have easily over 500), but because I am currently in Oxford and do not have access to them at this time, it will have to wait until I am back in the States (this x-mas). Hence, this list is in many ways reflective of the books with which I have worked a great deal in the recent past (esp. whilst at Oxford), ones that I might come across and remember that I own, as well as those on my Amazon wishlist that I plan on adding to my library over time (though it will probably take many, many years to acquire them all, haha).

- I am a currently an undergrad (senior year), studying Biblical Studies and English (Lit and Writing). I am now in the process of applying to grad schools in order to get my Masters (MTS or MAR in Biblical Studies), and plan to continue on from there to get my Ph.D. in New Testament, with probable specialization in Pauline Theology. Hence, the greater majority of my library centers on Biblical scholarship. Aside from my most cherished scholarly pursuits of languages (so far I have studied German, Greek and Hebrew--but will also acquire French, Latin, Aramaic and Italian, God willing), reading and writing - I enjoy traveling, horseback riding, watching films and, yes, my favorite T.V. shows (esp. Gilmore Girls), listening to music (esp. Jars of Clay, Slightly Stoopid, Bob Marley and Matisyahu), going to the theatre (esp. for Shakespeare--Much Ado about Nothing and The Winter's Tale are my favorites), having afternoon tea w/ friends--high or just cream (esp. in Oxford, my favorite city in the whole wide world), dialectics--esp. with insightful friends over a pint or two of cider (again, this is best done in an Oxford pub), shopping--esp. for books (heh, apparently), and just plain spending time with those about whom I care the most (MOST especially my Lord and King!).
