Sobre mi biblioteca

This isn't an exhaustive list--just the books I've read in the recent past that have stuck in my mind for one reason or another.

I write fiction, so I read fiction. I'll crack open just about anything, but I tend to gravitate toward supernaturally-tinged stories and crime/mystery/noir.

Sobre mí

I write "Noir Bizarre" stories, mixing elements of the crime/mystery and supernatural/fantasy genres. Blame it on an unhealthy fascination with "The Night Stalker" and "Rod Serling's Night Gallery" as a child.

WAKING LAZARUS, my debut novel, released in Summer of 2006. To my surprise and delight, it was named one of the "Top 25 Genre Novels of the Year" by Library Journal.

My second, THE DEAD WHISPER ON, released in hardcover Summer of 2007 (Trade Paperback April 2008), fulfilling my lifelong desire to write a novel featuring both living shadows and spontaneous human combustion.

My third novel, THE UNSEEN, released Fall of 2008.

A few interesting facts/tidbits about me:

• My long list of past odd jobs includes trimming Christmas trees, sorting seed potatoes, selling strawberries, and cleaning cadaver storage rooms.

• As a teen, I was undefeated in air guitar competitions (a record of 3-0), in which I performed songs by ZZ Top. No, really.

• I enjoy pudding.
