My library is small and consists of just the ones I have shelved in my bedroom. I have read many more books than i actually own, as I'm sure is the case with many people and I am working on adding as many as I can to the "read but unowned" category of my collections.

I also have a strange compulsion to edit the covers of all my books so that they match the books as I had originally read them.

Books I typically read tend to fall into the fantasy category, with some sci-fi and a healthy dose of the classics. Nonfiction is not usually my thing with a few exceptions. I like the escape that fantasy brings and like stories that include fey or uncanny aspects. Also most books I read are adventure/quest books and a little romance always helps. :)

My ideal setting for reading a book is curled up in some warm nook with no one around and drinking a cup of tea. Or when the weather's nice out in a hammock or just on the grass in the sunshine.

I can spend hours in a library or a bookstore (much to the annoyance of my family on vacation shopping escapades!)
