I generally read non-fiction. Over the years I have come to notice that a large percentage of my books deals with religion, mythology, and what can be termed "supernatural" experiences, though I prefer the term "unexplained". This ranges from books with anecdotes to psi research to the chemistry of ayahuasca.

My interests are in fact wide and varied, and whenever I develop a new one, I keep the old one but add books on the new subject also. And thus the library keeps growing...

Also over the years, I have stopped trying to keep my books looking as new as possible, and now freely order second-hand books, and underline and make annotations in the non-fiction I read.

For some time now I have been adding audiobooks to my collection also, which I listen to during my daily commute.

Sobre mí

I was born in '76, and turned out a life-loving, epicurean individualist. Also a book-loving introvert, as described so wonderfully in Susan Cain's book "Quiet".

I have always had too many books for my age.

Currently living in Belgium, where I was born, though I have also lived for a short time in Dublin, Ireland. Most of what I read is in English, but book reviews on my blog are always in Dutch. I also understand French and some Spanish, but mostly I read in English.
