Sobre mí
Hi,

I have searched everywhere, and I cannot find hide nor hare of a book I believe I read
in 2010 or 2011, which featured an (Athenian?) ancient Greek protagonist, at about the time of Pericles, I think, who was fat, loved figs, and whose friend had been killed by a discus which was then declared guilty of murder (the discus), and broken. The protag. travels with his leather-masked slave (a woman whose face has been disfigured) to investigate, as he does not believe the death to have been accidental, and discovers the widow to have cursed the discus, causing her husband's death (over jealously of his beautiful young lover). The protagonist is nearly killed by his slave, btw, as he discovers all of this.

Have you any idea who may have written this? I am certain I read it but can find no trace anywhere.
Peace,
ShiraDestinie
