- I update my Librarything page in a sporadic way - so my 'library' here is only a rough approximation of my relationship with books.

- I live in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and I'm the author of the poetry collection 'Wedding Underwear for Mermaids'. I've always been an avid reader and I experience a golden glow of contentment whenever I'm in a library or bookshop. My tastes are eclectic but I'm especially fond of novels written between 1920 and 1960, biographies of writers, travel books, young adult fantasy, and poetry - of course!
