Sobre mi biblioteca
My professional training explains why there are so many picture books and titles for young readers in my library! I am slowly adding books as I read them, or as I remember that I have read them. I've been a Brit Lit junkie since I read Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights at age 12, so books by and about British authors are quite common in my library.
Sobre mí
I am training to become a children's librarian in a public library. I'm a member of the American Library Association and its Association for Library Service to Children. I read a lot of young adult titles, but I mostly work with preschoolers and elementary school children. I am trying to learn more about America's diverse ethnic and racial heritage, as well as about literatures and cultures around the world. I hope this is reflected in my library.
