As you can note, my library's rather heavy on serious subjects, but I also like comics, classic car compendiums, and books on gardening and antiques.

Hello! I'm John, 46, a librarian in Missouri, single, never married and looking for a literary lady to share my life.:) I like biographies such as those penned by David McCullough, current events as polished by the late David Halberstam, politics as observed by Bob Woodward, and some contemporary American fiction from the latter half of the twentieth century, such as Flannery O'Connor, Hemingway and Steinbeck. Additionally I am a league bowler, like to travel, value history and historical places, enjoy rock music and classical and country, and also enjoy fine dining out or casual snacks in. I'm caring, sensitive, open and looking for friends and acquaintances to banter with regarding literature.
