My name is Kelcy and I am a bibliophile. I love reading a good book and once I get one I can't put it down and often sacrifice necessary duties that I should be tending to instead like maybe the laundry... I am a wife and soon to be mother. This is our first:) I hope to raise her as a bibliophile as well.

I believe that books should be treated with respect, and taken well care of. I believe that unless it is a study book where you are making highlights, well read should not also mean well worn. There is no excuse for mistreating a book.

I like a different assortment of genres but my favorite is probably the little cozy mystery books. I have recently discovered the Book Retreat Mysteries by Ellery Adams, fallen in-love and now think that she is my favorite author.
