About My Library
This library, dubbed "illo•lib", represents the books available to the ECUAD community via my office (B4152). The holdings here primarily represent graphic and printing arts along a broad spectrum of disciplines and approaches, as well as praxis along radical anti-racist, decolonial, resistance, protest, and Indigenous lines.
Acerca de mí
My name is Daniel Drennan ElAwar, I work as an associate professor of Illustration in the Faculty of Art at Emily Carr University. Emily Carr University is located on the ancestral and occupied traditional lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations of the Coast Salish peoples. There I teach illustration and printmaking. I am also a volunteer at the People's Co-op Bookstore (see link below).
