- Most are books I have read. I have started one (Gravity's Rainbow) at least 5 times, the first being in the late 70s. I finally finished it in April 2008 thanks to a challenge from my teen aged son. The majority are books I have read over the last few years. Others are books read as a younger man, books that have left an impression after all these years. Still others (such as Clancy and Grisham) provided entertaining beach reading over many years. Fiction obviously plays a big role in my life. Though not a Luddite, I am resisting the move to e-books.
