Sobre mi biblioteca
My Library Thing library only includes those books that I own. I've debated about whether or not to include the books I check out and return to my local library branch. Eventually, I would like LT to include my entire collection of a thousand or so books.

When I sold my first book, Claiming Georgia Tate, I used the money to hire an artisan to design and build bookcases in our living room. Of anything I've ever bought, I love those the most. (not including my horse. I love him more than the bookcases, definitely.)

My library includes a nice collection of first editions by Ellen Glasgow, quite a few Haitian children's books, a strong section of anything Tudor [reflective of my obsession with the PBS series Elizabeth R when I was young], nature, poetry, just books I love. Also, I really love cookbooks and home ec books [like Clothes for Girls] from the 1950s.

I try to keep my library at home organized with the Dewey, but sometimes other people get their hands on my books, which is mostly fine. I like reshelving.
Sobre mí
I write young adult fiction and am fortunate to work with Candlewick Press.
