I have an aging collection of literature that is a holdover from graduate work at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have not added to it since with the exception of works that interest my wife. Since I currently instruct history I have been steadily adding to my collection carefully purchasing what I judge to the best in recent scholarship on a teacher's salary.

I am a professor at a campus of the county college and teach in my school district as well. I am an avid reader of American political and military history and biography. I have extensively studied Restoration drama and hold an M.A. in Literature which just means some required reading that further interested my interest in ancient military history and literary traditions.
