This is the library of the Freshman English Program, which is basically all of the random books we have laying about in the office. Lots of composition readers and writing instruction guides.

GUIDE TO TAGS
about teaching - books discussing ways, methods, theories, &c. of teaching (esp. teaching of writing)
about writing - books discussing ways, methods, theories, &c. of writing, but not textbooks, and not the teaching of writing
composition anthology - anthologies of essays, primarily used in composition classrooms
literature - single works of literature, including annotated/critical editions
literature anthology - anthologies of works of literature, either period/nationality overviews, or samplers for a class
teaching guidebook - companion guides to textbooks, aimed at teachers
writing handbook - style/grammar guides, esp. pocket versions; also dictionaries and such
writing textbook - textbooks for students in writing courses

Sobre mí

The Freshman English Program at the University of Connecticut administers the different ways of fulfilling the University of Connecticut Freshman English requirement, offers classes that prepare students to fulfill the requirement, and coordinates with other campus programs to develop students' writing skills throughout their time at UConn. We provide support to instructors and information to students.

Stevil2001 is the personal library of one of the assistant directors of FE, and he's been on LT forever.
