- Fort Roberdeau is located near Altoona, PA at the site of a Revolutionary War fort also known as "the Lead Mine Fort" that was constructed on the Pennsylvania frontier in 1778 by Daniel Roberdeau, a member of the Continental Congress. The site today consists of the reconstructed fort, a 19th century house and barn, and a "first house."
