- I do collect other areas--signed Pop ups and New Orleans themed books, Social History, Decorative Arts, History and Fiction. But my focus is one day to aquire a significant Edward Gorey collection.

- I have always loved books and art. I collect what I love to read and admire regardless of the edition or artist. I love combing used or rare book stores finding amazing books that I never thought existed, or finding that one artist to whom you make a connection.
Then one day a couple of years ago, I was introduced to Edward Gorey. What a combination of the written word and art…..I was hooked. As many devotees to Gorey will attest, as I acquired certain editions---I hadn’t actually seen the edition--his work is so hard to aquire and many editions have only just recently been reprinted in an affordable edition, each arrival was an adventure. Even the compilations are becoming hard to acquire.
Each time you read one of his books, you see or interpret something you hadn’t seen previously. It’s a constant joy. For me, isn’t that the best of the written word and a good art work??? - Ubicación
