I own about 30 linear metres of books, but it would take me years to enter them all, so at this stage I'm just entering books I own that have an association the Australian High Country. I have a fairly comprehensive collection built up over 20 years of scouring second hand bookshops and websites.

I'm interested in mountain history. I've written on ski, mining, grazing and hydro electric history in the Victorian High Country and mountain huts in Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales. I'm also prone to writing track notes for undocumented walking routes.

I'm slowly consolidating my writing to http://australianmountains.com but it will be a few more years until I have moved all the articles I've written to that site. The latest addition to the site is a book length article that took me 4 years to write: Mt Donna Buang the forgotten ski resort. In October 2015 it won a commendation in the Victorian Community History Awards as one of the five best on-line histories published in 2014 - 2015.

I've also proof read, edited and indexed mountain related books further afield including the English edition of Heinrich Harrer's autobiography and mountaineering history books.
