As the North American Seat of Drepung Gomang Monastery, we offer the region of Louisville, Kentucky an opportunity to study and practice Tibetan Buddhism through transformative guided retreats, classes, and teachings
We actively promote awareness of the endangered Tibetan culture and associated human rights issues with commemorations and events, and by hosting the Drepung Gomang Sacred Arts Tours.

We provide Louisville a welcoming space and programs relating to the practice of meditation, secular ethics, interfaith dialogue and peacemaking as inspired by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We are dedicated to engaging compassion in the hearts of the community.

Drepung Gomang Center for Engaging Compassion is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. As the North American Seat of Drepung Gomang Monastery, Tashi Gomang Dharma Center is a non-profit religious organization. Dharma teachings offered by the Geshes.
