Sobre mi biblioteca
My library fluctuates quite a bit from year to year. I've tried to make my books fit the available shelf space, regularly clearing out the already-read-but-not-good-enough-to-keep books along with the not-interesting-enough-to-read-after-all books to make way for new arrivals. I eagerly anticipate my local library's annual book sale, the high point of my year - where I buy fifty or so donated books for less than a dollar a piece. What riches! I hope to keep more of them in the future, by garnering ideas from the creative bookshelf group here at LibraryThing. Like C.S. Lewis, I can never get a book long enough or a cup of tea large enough to suit me.
Sobre mí
After many exhausting, exultant, exhilarating years of being a single, homeschooling mom blessed with four excellent kids, I finally have the luxury of working only one full time job. One darling daughter remains at home, the 15 year old baby of my fabulous four. Together, we're enjoying the process of domestic overhaul - making our house, our gardens, and our many pets lovely and orderly. I am grateful for my job in a drug/alcohol rehab residence, but am looking forward to a more emotionally satisfying job one of these days. To that end, I'm studying for a BS in Health Psychology and also learning more about skillful writing. My ultimate dream would be to work from home and live like Tasha Tudor. Since we live in a sweet, rural setting, surrounded by Old-order Amish families, it's an obtainable dream.
