Some of my most favorite children's books are my favorites due to their illustrators. The illustrations caught my eye and the stories held my attention. These are just a few of my favorites:

My name is Cheryl Akins. I'm an artist/illustrator in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I work mainly in colored pencil. Currently, I am working on a portfolio for children's publishing and am actively seeking representation. My dream is to one day write and illustrate my own children's books.
