Sobre mí
Abraham Shaw (November 1585 - November 1638), early settler of Watertown and Dedham, Massachusetts. Emigrated from Halifax, Yorkshire, in the "Anne," 1636, to Watertown, where he was made freeman 9 March 1636/1637. His house there burned in October 1636 and Shaw relocated to Dedham, where he was among the signers of the founding compact. In 1637 he was granted leave to explore for iron ore, and later given permission to erect a corn mill. Shaw was named constable of the town in 1638.
