Since 1951 a Phoenix, Arizona native. High School graduate. Electrical wholesaling 1970 to 1991. First book I recall reading was Orwell's '1984' around 1960, when I was 8. I read it in one setting. In the 1950s I recall our parents taking us to the new air-conditioned Phoenix library and me and my brothers would check out the maximum number of books, 13. During school summer vacation, myself and my older brother spent many days in the aisles of the library. I figure I've read around, over 61 years, at least 2,500 books.
