Seventeen-year-old Carol doesn't expect what happens to her when she buys what she thinks is a normal poster. The poster turns out to be a magical item that can travel through specific periods of time. When a mysterious man shows up in her room the morning after, she freaks. He tells her that he came from the poster that was actually a portal, and explains its magical properties. She soon learns of a zombie apocalypse that is about to happen, and will continue for four years from her time, and Carol has to change the events of the future to make the world a better place again. When the events of time are thrown out of balance, things take a down turn, and Carol finds herself caught in a web of lies, mystery, and her own past. Mixed with a twisted array of characters, Mutated Files is the new series in the world of zombies!
