Advertisement text (28 May): "Boston, May 28. 1750. TO be Sold, by publick Vendue, at the Dwelling-House of Mr. William Taylor, near the old Brick Meeting-House, on THURSDAY next, the 31st Instant, beginning at Four of the Clock in the Afternoon, a Collection of very valuable BOOKS; being the Library of the Reverend Mr. John Taylor, deceased. — The Books may be seen at any Time, after this Day, at the Place of Sale."

Advertisement text (31 May): "TO BE SOLD, by Publick Vendue, at the Dwelling-House of Mr. William Taylor, near the Old-Brick Meeting House, THIS AFTERNOON, at 4 o'Clock, A Collection of very valuable BOOKS; being the Library of the Reverend John Taylor, deceased."

Advertisement text (28 January, 4 and 11 February): "To be sold by publick Vendue, on Thursday the 14th Day of February next, a very curious Collection of Books, being among others, the most valuable part of the Library of the late Rev. Mr. John Taylor of Milton. The Sale to begin at four of the Clock in the Afternoon, at the House of Mr. William Taylor in Cornhill, where the books may be seen the Day before said Sale."
