I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute way of telling the story of a little octopus going on a mission to help his mother find her lost oranges. I liked the plot of the story. In the beginning it started off with Jeremiah searching for his mothers lost oranges. Just when I though he found them all he came across a problem on how to carry them all home. He then found a solution and made it home with all the oranges. I enjoyed that plot and the suspense and conflict that it built, but was settled in the end. I also enjoyed the illustrations and characters in the book. I liked how the octopus was the main character because it was very different from anything I’ve read. I also think all the pictures fit very well with the story. For example, when the story said that Jeremiah rolled all the way down the hill, the picture clearly showed Jeremiah in a ball rolling down the hill. The overall message of this book I think was that while helping others sometimes you may come across conflict and want to give up, but in the end if you follow through you will feel proud of yourself and be rewarded.… (más)
