The writing is a lot in the book but we take a tour around the jungle exploring a few animals. The book is also a kinethsetic book that a child can interact with the pages and animals.
This book is realistic fiction because we take a tour around the jungle. It is a typical setting and has typical animals we would see today.
Use:
1) Allows children to hear then name of animals and match the different parts of animals together.
2) Have an older child read the long text to a preschooler who would interact with the book.
