This book is an examination of the process of making and building drawings. The process starts with a child's first crayon or pencil marks and proceeds to drawing letters, then symbols for every stage of our growth. Symbols for math, for music, for science, etc. This portfolio was prepared for the author's MA degree in drawing, and offered free on Apple Books. I found it very interesting.

A web design company I worked for used DDN as one of their primary tools so I picked this up so I could navigate through the process. The book does a fair job of delivering on its promise, though I have to admit I haven't touched it since I first read it.
