Atom Yang

There is more story in these 49 pages than in many a full novel. I loved the weave of Chinese and American cultures, and I loved the story structure. I loved the friends-to-lovers and their family. This is beautiful work, and Mr. Yang is now on my 'read everything he writes' list.

Do you know how hard it is to write a great apocalypse Romance? This is short (novella I think) and made me laugh and hit me right in the feels and is so wrenchingly tender to the neighbors while also being funny that I wish Atom Yang would, I don't know, use a time machine maybe, to have more stories for me to read!

What a tiny little delight. Genuine, heart, and funny all packed in 50 pages.
