Dean E. Wooldridge (1913–2006)

I tried to read this a long time ago when I was still a teenager. I had obtained a softcover copy from a thrift store. I had forgotten completely about this one until I ran across the same copy in my uncle's collection while sorting and cleaning the books. It was terrible, the prose was so dry that I just could not continue past the first third of this thing. On top of that, even by the time I got my hands on it all those years ago, it was already very outdated in terms of what was known about our brains. I would say just avoid this one it's outdated, it's drier than the Sahara, and don't let its premise (viewing the brain as an electronic computer ca. 1963) which is tantalizing, drag you in.… (más)
