Won the IACP Julia Child award, which is a big deal. It's lovely to look at, but the recipes are too "special" to include in daily cooking.

Rebecca Wood believes that in any relationship, "The more deeply we know the other - be it a neighbor, your pet cat, or an apple - the more that relationship offers." This comprehensive encyclopedia about whole foods covers not only what the food IS, but it also includes the medicinal benefits, how to cook it, and where to find it! Learning about the health benefits of eating whole (and not processed!) foods was very enlightening.
