The most fun, engaging book about personal finance and debt reduction that I've read to date.

Cool with a friendly, potty-mouthed, butt-kicking personal finance bud in your back pocket? Then Get Money is the book for you. Wong takes a subject that many of us cringe over (controlling your own money) and turns it into a gamified how-to. There aren't any chapters in this book, but rather "levels to beat'. Plus, the info has all been field tested by Wong and her legions of readers, all interspersed with notes from the 'experts'.

Admittedly, I have a bit of a girl crush on Wong - her style of writing, the tone with which she teaches, that she used her own experiences and then sought out experts to validate and recommend. And with a (normally) dry subject such as personal finance? I'm in.

One note: for whatever reason, I thought this book was more woo-woo and less practical advice when I started reading it. It's clear from the start though - this isn't a law of attraction or 'raise your vibe' kind of book.… (más)
