COMMENTS: Quick, light romance read. Altho' part of a miniseries -- believe there are 3 other books focusing on 3 other young women also living @ Amber Court and working @ Colette Jewelry -- this definitely stands alone. Sylvie, is a very focused business woman and loves her job and feels her co-workers are her family. She is on a mission to stop Marcus Grey from destroying Colette Jewelery. Marcus Grey is a self-made man and for years he has believed his father's Jewelry business was destroyed by Colette & is out to make things right. The 2 seem to have different objectives but are very attracted to each other -- they each have to find a meeting ground before they can come to terms w/ both their working & personal relationships.… (más)

I like Gretchen - and Kurt. He got it totally wrong at the beginning and gets out of the hole he dug himself into a bit too easily - but that's not even halfway through the story, he has a lot more to do before the happy ending. It's also a major piece of Family Secrets continuity - the second of the Five found, and more info about the bad guys and their plans.
