"Shore, Reefs, and The Deep" is a book about life underwater and the different types of plants and animals that live in the ocean. This book can be used for a wide variety of students because it is filled with many pictures, captions, and chunks of text. Young students who can not read can use the pictures to think critically about the text. While older readers could read the chunks of text or just the captions. If the full text is above the students reading level they could read the captions independently and could read the big chunks of text in bigger groups.… (más)

Little Zebra wants to run fast with his family, but can't. He gets discouraged & tries to out run other animals. He soon learns he is growing and can run with family.
