Often self-published authors have a good story line but lack the ability to turn it into an interesting book. That is NOT the case with Jeff Weiss' book. He has created a football story that even a non-sports book reader can enjoy. Ivan is the place kicker on his high school team. When his kicking leg accidentally gets injected with gorilla serum during a camp-out at the zoo, not only does his leg turn hairy but his kicking power becomes phenomenal. His losing team suddenly becomes winners. The zoo veterinarian and his sidekick have a secret mission research project. Ivan is concerned about his whole body turning into a gorilla and at the end of the season he convinces the Doctor to give him anti-gorilla serum.
