Roger Waters

Izod Center

East Rutherford, NJ

November 3, 2010

Now for something different. This video was shot using a small handheld camera from the third row in 720p. Accordingly, it is not as sharp, steady, or clear of heads as my other shows which were filmed in full hi-def 1080i with a monopod from tiered or completely unobstructed seats. However, it does offer a unique vantage point and for that reason I'm putting it out there.

I hesitated to release this because I was unhappy with several songs in set one. My initial camera settings were a bit off so bright subjects tend to be overexposed for the first forty minutes. I adjusted my camera after Young Lust and it is improved the rest of the show. I feel bad about this though, so to make up for it I am tacking on what I have of Philly 11/8 as a bonus. For 11/8, I made it through to One Of My Turns before getting stopped by security. It's also shot from up close (4th row) and the exposure is better.

Finally, I'm a Comfortably Numb junkie so I added additional clips I took of that song on 11/8 (broke out the camera one more time) and 11/11. The latter clip gives a good view of the "spiraling wave of light" that was added sometime after the Izod shows. Its first appearance was either at MSG 11/6 or Philly 11/8.

*Nick Mason Interview Q104.3 Classic Rock 9/12/06

Notes:

My first time actually seeing Roger Waters on his own and he put on an unbelievable show. I removed some unwanted whoos and claps but nothing that removed any sort of music or Roger's comments. The recording came out pretty nice since I was on the side of the stage. Not quite as sweet as Dan Lynch's recording but nice none the less.It was great seeing Nick Mason play with him on the second set. I also included an interview that Nick Mason did on 9/12/06 on Q104.3 Classic Rock on NYC. Unfortunately I missed the first part of the interview but a bulk of it is included here. Hope you enjoy and please trade freely.
