Story of a Chinese Christian woman. Her father was a pastor and escaped the communist early. This is the story of her and her mother and three siblings escape from China. The author was in medical school and ended up having to give that up as her training was not recognized outside of China. She does move to England and start working with the Chinese nurses that come over for schooling and training, but she never becomes the doctor she wanted to be. Another sad story of how a family was changed by the communist takeover. Check it out of the library unless you are a collector of Christian memoirs.… (más)
