I just not a fan of the hidden back story coming out in the last quarter of the book. Let alone the unresolved dark thoughts from the main character Louise. And no one knowing it was her father all along is just strange.

Fast-paced, thrilling, non-stop action, twists and turns all the way to the end. An exciting, captivating, roller-coaster mystery!

The story was good, although based on the description of the book, I was expecting more. It would have been so interesting and different if Louise had given in and joined her dad.
I am starting to dislike books written from the perspective of the police and reporters.

This book is difficult to gather my thoughts on. It had a long and laborious buildup, finally getting interesting about ¾ of the way through it. That last ¼ had me on the edge of my seat. But the ending came out of the blue with no earlier hints at all. While I like books with that unexpected ending, I should be able to think back and see the clues I missed. But this one had none – zilch. Very disappointing.
