Dominique Veillon

Dominique Veillon is director of research at the Centre national de la recherché scientifique (CNRS), the French National Center for Scientific Research, the largest governmental research organization in France. She worked for many years at the Institut d'histoire du Temps Present, the unit on contemporary history, including World War II, and is a member of the Conseil Scientifique of the Musée du Général Leclerc de Hauteclocque et de la Libération de Paris at the Musée Jean Moulin. She is the author of numerous works on the French Resistance and the everyday life of women, including Fashion under the Occupation (2002) and Resistance: Histoires de families (2009) with Dominique Missika.
