I remember loving this book as a kid, especially the part about the tide pools. The illustrations are wonderful.
This book is amazing! It perfectly captures all the details of a beautiful day at the beach. My daughter loves looking at all the kids playing in the sand and in the waves. The illustrations of shells, crabs, seaweed, and other ocean life are really good for teaching about things you can find at the beach. One page shows a man digging up clams for his dinner. After reading the book, my daughter went to her sandbox in our backyard, picked up a shovel, and said, "look, mom. I'm digging for clams for our dinner!" I loved it. We read this one over and over again.… (más)
