Fascinating introduction by a writer who comes across as not only a scholar but a genuinely humane and civilized man
A good selection by a guy who was Afghanistan's Minister of Education (in the '50s?) as well as ambassador to India, Great Britain, and the U.S., but about whom I can find nothing online except that he's also known as Najib Ullah Khan.
