890 The Making of a Modern Saint: A Biographical Study of Therese of Lisieux, by Barry Ulanov (read 22 Jan 1967) I read this because I was so enthused by the book The Search for Saint Therese, by Peter-Thomas Rohrbach, which I read immediately before I read this book. I appreciated this book also.

An incredible book that opens windows onto new depths in understanding women, men, and the human condition overall. It reaffirms the joy of life, not superficially, but in all life's colors, from darkest to brightest and in between. A refreshingly mature view of "good and evil".
