The abilities of their sisters were highlighted in the story. The sisters worked together for the good of the family. Families can work together to complete the puzzle of life. If you are a sister, or even in a family wit more that one child, you would be able to appreciate this gem of a book. It describes the lives of seven sister who live in China and look very similar but have many different qualities. From dragon whispering to soup making, this book gives a small window into the life of what it actually is to have a sibling. For me that means sharing clothing and chores, but this book taught me to accept my sister for who she is and truly appreciate her. The only thing that does disappoint me is the simple plot and the sometimes monotone language. i feel as if the book were to add more expression, it would have received more than a three start rating. Also, the illustrations were very simple and clean, yet beautifully enhanced the reader by doing simple things such as including every detail about each sister as well as describing how the sisters behavior ended up saving them and their family… (más)
