No taxation without representation?

Ms. Tsai discusses the chance that Chinese entrepreneurs will demand democratic reform of communist rule. From the various viewpoints possible, she has chosen the relationship between entrepreneurs and the state, which mainly relates to licensing, taxation and the availability of credit.

Unsurprisingly, the way entrepreneurs perceive the state depends very much on their background. Regional differences play a role too, as does Chinese culture with its emphasis on personal contacts.

Additionally, the author stresses the importance of the flexibility of the political system that has proven to be able to change and incorporate requirements of the business world.

I found the first chapter of the book full of horrific jargon, but the rest was well written.
