Takes its time getting out of Turkey Scratch, Arkansas, and its time after that getting out of Canada. But when the band dumps Ronnie Hawkins, the book, too, is ready to roll with Dylan on the horizon. So completely one-sided on the songwriting-credit controversy that you'd be forgiven for not realizing there was a controversy, Robertson is so clearly the villain here. A terrific account of a great musician and infectious personality.

Levon was also a devoted and generous friend and family member. This loving portrait of the man and his memorable place in rock history continues on even after the group broke up, with Levon kept playing and delighting fellow musicians and audiences for another forty years. It’s a glorious tribute to an inspirational legend.… (más)
