This touching autobiography/memoir is accompanied by absolutly georgous pictures that tell as much about the painter as do her words. She wants what every girl wants— a home, a good life and a knight in shinning armour to answer her every need. Kristin came from the type of environment that demanded perfection and she tried to comply, to her own detriment. She rebelled as a teenager, and never seemed to get past that point. Only in her paintings does she seem able to completely express herself, and some of them are really breathtaking. I am so grateful she shared them with us through her poignant autobiography.… (más)
